About me

Since I was a young teen, I’ve engulfed myself in music. My thoughts, passion and focus have been dominated by the world of sounds. I have a degree in Recording Arts and Technology and have played in bands/studio projects for the last 20 years. In the winter of 2008, I interned at Black Lodge with Ed Rose (The Appleseed Cast, The Get Up Kids, Touche Amore, etc.), in Eudora, Kansas. After, I was an engineer at Standing Water Studios, in Madison, WI, producing, recording and mixing. I freelanced the majority of the following years, in Boston and San Diego, and currently I reside in the San Diego/Oceanside area with my beautiful wife and two kids. I’ve had an instrumental studio project, Often the Thinker, since 2007 and work with a handful of amazing musicians.
